Born in Tehran, in an artistic family. His father is one of the great miniaturists in Iran and his mother was a designer. At the age of five, he started to learn music under his father’s supervision and at the same time he participated and completed Orff class. At the age of eight, he started learning piano with Mr. Khaledi. When he was ten, he studied classical piano with Ms. Parvin Khorsandian for ten years. He studied the theory of music with Mr. Pourtorab and harmony with Dr. Sharifian. Then he started composing and created works for connection between music and painting. Then he entered to university and received Bachelor’s of Arts with honour in painting in 1993, in Tehran. At the same time he had several piano recitals. One of them was recorded and broadcasted on the German Television network in 1989 and another recital was performed in Austrian Cultural Centre, Tehran in 1990. Also he performed recital in Radio and Television College in 1990 and played original pieces at the Art University in 1992. Ramin has received top honours in several Fajr Music Festivals. He performed as the pianist of the Tehran Symphonic Orchestra Choir from 1993, he also played as the pianist of Radio and Television Choir for five years. At the same years he completed conducting and composing courses in Armenia with Professor Aghajanian, Altounian and Moradian. In 1999, he succeeded to be the Tehran Symphonic Orchestra Choir conductor in the Iranian Music centre. At the year of 2001 he travelled to Canada to perform a concert in Armenian Embassy in Ottawa. Then, he move to Vancouver and composed several pieces for Piano & Tar , Piano solo , Piano & vocal ,Piano & Violin and played his master pieces in an amazing concert in Vancouver. In his first experience in painting, he started to illustrate "Basilid Birds". He learned oil-colour painting with Mr. Morteza Katouzian, one of the most famous oil colour painters in Iran. Then, he continued his education in university with Dr. Javad Hamidi. Ramin has participated in individual and group exhibitions. He had five water colour exhibitions in Vancouver and one exhibition in Toronto and several exhibitions in Tehran. He published 9 postal cards of his water colour paintings in 1999.
